Michelle Hague LCSW, LCADC ​
Michelle is a seasoned therapist with 23 years of dedicated practice in the field of mental health. Her innate compassion combined with clinical expertise, has guided countless individuals to “sea” the possibilities of healing and personal growth.
Michelle’s professional journey began over two decades ago, driven by her desire to make a positive impact on peoples’ lives. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University. Since completing her formal education, Michelle exhibits a commitment to providing the highest standard of care through ongoing study of neuroscience, shame and resilience, somatic experiencing, polyvagal theory, and alternative methodologies.
Michelle’s approach is psychodynamic, emphasizing how life events and relationships, both past and present, affect our current feelings, relationships, and choices. She incorporates education of the mind-body connection, highlighting the physical feeling and body postures associated with our emotional experience. Michelle creates a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to grow, heal and find self-actualization through self-exploration.
Michelle is a New Jersey native who enjoys going to the beach, reading, gardening, swimming in the ocean, and spending time in nature.
